HHello — Courtney here, filling in while my mom is at the Haven Conference in Georgia as a blogging mentor.

I’ve always loved a classic blue-and-white palette, and lately I’ve been especially inspired by navy-and-white bathrooms. These photographs highlight how navy tones pair beautifully with white surfaces, and how warm wood accents can soften the scheme and add welcoming contrast.

Would you consider a blue-and-white bathroom in your home? I certainly would.

A quick note: today was the final day to vote in the Annie Selke Rug Design Competition. We were thrilled to have our rug designs considered for production by Dash & Albert in 2018. Voting was simple — a like or heart on the Annie Selke Instagram page — and the support we received was overwhelmingly encouraging.

To visualize the rugs in different settings, we created a few simple Photoshop mockups showing how the designs might look in both our current and previous homes. The concepts are timeless with a modern twist, designed to complement a variety of decorating styles.
