HHello! Is this thing on? Hi, friends — I’ve missed you! Everything is good here at home. I’ve been quieter than usual while juggling several projects with overlapping deadlines. It’s been a busy season.
Between the blog downtime earlier this year (you might have noticed the site went missing a few times, which was alarming), organizing the Simple Organizing book launch (thank you for all your support!), and finishing a new 60,000-word manuscript (turned in last week, yay!), I’ve had my hands full with projects and home updates.

Writing a book is always a curious process — it often feels like I’m talking to you the whole time, even though you can’t answer. It’s a bit like talking to myself, so it feels nice to be back where you can hear me again.
Tomorrow I’ll share an update from my dining room — you can see a sneak peek at the top of the post.
As I went through photos this weekend, I felt inspired to put together a little spring roundup.
This is a bit of a blast from the past, collecting images from both my previous home and my new home for a fun spring inspiration post.

Decorate your mantel and coffee table to refresh the living room.

Lighten up open shelving with simple, airy displays for a fresh look.

Bring in greenery from the yard to add life and color indoors.

Line a windowsill with spring plants and blooms to brighten a room.

Use a fringed throw or Turkish towel to add texture and color to an entry table.

Refresh a wall with heavy gift wrap or removable wallpaper for an easy, temporary update.

Tie a rope around curtains for a relaxed, nautical touch.

Switch to lighter bed linens to give your bedroom a fresh spring vibe.

Paint something you’ve always wanted to change — a little paint can make a big difference.

Do a spring tidy: clear surfaces, refresh zones, or create a new command center to simplify daily routines.

Create an inspiration board to plan a spring project or to gather ideas visually.

Rethink a wall arrangement — fresh art, frames, or a new layout can renew a space.

Make a spring flower basket for your door to welcome the season.

Set a sunny table for a relaxed Saturday breakfast.

Bring spring color to your entry with a new rug to brighten your arrival space.

Organize a drawer to make daily life easier — small organizing wins add up.

Set up a dessert buffet outside for an informal, joyful gathering.

Add spring colors to your bedroom with pillows, throws, or a light duvet.

Refresh your front door paint for instant curb appeal.

Lighten curtain panels to let more light and air into a room for a breezy feel.

Browse flea markets for unique planters and porch accessories to personalize your entry.

Set up an outdoor seating area for relaxed gatherings and fresh-air time.

Bring in new houseplants for an instant green refresh.
How’s your spring going so far? What are you working on or changing at home? I’d love to hear — I’ve missed you all. See you tomorrow!
