Idon’t remember exactly when I wrote my first “20 Little Things” post, but I did one in 2008 titled “20 Little Things to Treasure in Autumn.” Making a list like this can feel a little frivolous at first, but every time I write one it helps me tune into the season ahead.
Creating a simple list puts me in a more grateful, inspired mood and helps me focus on what truly matters. It’s a small ritual that makes a difference.
Try making a list of your own, then link up your post at the bottom of this page. You don’t need a blog — you can post your list on Facebook and link it here. Your list doesn’t have to be elaborate; a plain list is perfect, or get creative if you like. The point is to do it and share it.
Before you go write your list, leave a comment to enter a little giveaway!

As a special fall treat, one of my sponsors, Susabelle Home & Gift Boutique, is offering a selection of seasonal gifts to inspire and pamper you.
The giveaway includes a fragrant fall candle, a set of fall foliage notecards, soy milk body lotion, and a charming cake stand kitchen towel — all small treats to brighten your season.
If you enjoy their shop, please consider liking their Facebook page as a kind thank-you. And keep them in mind for simple seasonal gifts.
To enter this giveaway, leave a comment on this post saying why you love fall nesting.
Also remember to add a link to your “20 Little Things You Love About Fall” list so we can all read and share ideas.
I’ll be sharing more in the Fall Nesting series soon, including a special surprise from JACK. Did you see my fall peacock wreath? Stay tuned for more decorating ideas and seasonal inspiration.
