I love for my home to smell inviting in every season.
I don’t want my house to smell unpleasant for any reason — ever. It’s a small deal breaker for me.
In spring and summer I prefer bright, fresh scents like citrus, lemongrass, or jasmine drifting through the rooms.
My summer Anthro-inspired diffuser blend is one of my favorites and truly captures that light, sunshiny feeling.
If heaven has a fall season (and I like to think it does), it would likely smell like vanilla, cloves, cinnamon and orange — or some warm, comforting mix of all of them.
Ideally my home smells of fresh flowers in spring and cozy baking in autumn. I used to rely on candles, but after switching to essential oils for health reasons I began experimenting with diffuser blends to recreate those beloved candle fragrances.
One of my favorite fall candle scents inspired me to create an essential oil diffuser version that’s just as cozy and comforting. Here’s the simple blend I reach for when I want the house to feel warm and inviting.
Sweet Vanilla Cinnamon Diffuser Blend
- A couple drops of Stress Away (vanilla and lime)
- 1 drop Cinnamon Bark
- 1 drop Nutmeg
For larger rooms or a stronger aroma, increase the number of drops proportionally.
