New Email Subscription Format!

I’ve been working on a blog redesign to make the site cleaner, faster and easier to enjoy. One of the biggest improvements is that the blog is now hosted on its own server, which should make pages load much more quickly and reduce downtime.

There are still a few organizational details I’m polishing — redesigns always seem to evolve — but I also have some good news to share.

I’ve launched a completely redesigned email subscription service.

The previous setup sometimes made emails look unappealing and caused delays or delivery issues. That was frustrating for everyone, so I updated the system to provide a much better experience. Subscribers should now receive posts reliably and with a cleaner, more readable format.

My blog coder Daisy (not to be confused with my designer Darcy) built the new email newsletter layout. If you prefer receiving updates in your inbox each morning, you’ll find the new emails more pleasant and consistent. Occasionally I may send special posts or extras to subscribers as well.

You are welcome. You know I love you.

If you were subscribed at any point during the past three years, you should receive this newsletter in your inbox. Going forward, new posts should arrive first thing in the morning.

If you’re unsure whether you’re subscribed, check the yellow sign-up box in the right sidebar of the blog; it should indicate your subscription status.

If you prefer visiting the blog directly or reading via an RSS feed, nothing changes for you — the site and feeds will continue to work as before.

If you’d like The Inspired Room posts delivered to your email or read via RSS, or if you’d like to follow on social media, visit the yellow subscription box in the sidebar on the blog’s home page.

Thank you for your patience while I finish the updates. It takes time to reorganize and refine everything, but the improvements will be worth it.
