Country Living – Kelley and Co.
It’s been feeling almost like summer here, and the sunshine has put me in the mood to refresh my home. Warmer days make me want lighter fabrics, brighter accessories, and more greenery around the house. A subtle coastal or tropical touch is often my go-to as the season changes.
I don’t usually do themed “spring” decorating, but I do enjoy swapping a few things out to create a fresher, airier atmosphere. Simple changes — a new throw, a few pillows, and lots of plants — can shift the whole feel of a room without a major overhaul.
Recently I shared updates to the dining room, master bedroom, and parts of the kitchen, and I’ll be showing more of our outdoor spaces soon. The living room is still a work in progress for me. I want to change the layout and I’m planning to replace the temporary sectional we used over winter. I have some ideas, but I’m still deciding on the final direction. I’ll write a post soon to share my plans and gather feedback.
In the meantime, I collected several rooms that inspired me and I wanted to share them. These spaces show a range of light, relaxed styles — from coastal to timeless classics — that feel perfect for warmer weather.

I haven’t seen the movie Home Again, but I’ve heard the last two photos are from that set. If you follow my style, you might notice my daybed style appearing in some of these rooms — a daybed or similar seating piece can bring a laid-back, inviting feeling to a living room.
What room are you working on right now? I’d love to hear what you’re up to!
