I love fresh spring flowers, but I also appreciate realistic faux options for those moments when fresh blooms aren’t available. I recently bought a set of faux tulips that look and feel remarkably natural—perfect for adding a cheerful touch to the house without the maintenance.
If your garden doesn’t quite have what you want yet, high-quality faux flowers make an excellent stand-in. They stay perfectly preserved, so you won’t have to deal with wilting or drooping stems. You can even blend faux with real flowers for a full, natural-looking arrangement that lasts.
I ordered several bunches of tulips for spring and have also picked out some faux peonies for summer from the same brand. I chose a spring orange and a soft light pink, and I’ll share photos once they arrive. They may even be useful for a summer wedding we’re planning—mixing faux and real can simplify arrangements and keep everything looking fresh throughout the day.
That said, I can’t wait to plant real spring and summer flowers too. Gardening and puttering in the yard are some of my favorite activities this season. Our yard is well suited to this phase of our lives: it already has mature bushes and trees and is compact enough to design and maintain easily. I can already picture the finished garden—charming and full of personality.
Are you excited for spring gardening? I’ll be sharing more posts with ideas and inspiration, so stay tuned.

The tulips pictured above are the pink variety.

The tulips shown above are the coral color.
