CImagine living in a cozy 600-square-foot Hobbit-style cottage like this. It’s charming and compact, a perfect retreat for anyone who loves warm, intimate spaces. My husband is a major Tolkien fan, so a house like this would be his dream. Years ago we considered buying a small, lovingly shaped home we nicknamed “the huggable house.” Although we didn’t buy it, the idea of building a tiny Hobbit-inspired cottage has stayed with us.
If I lived here, I’d curl up by a flickering fire with my favorite books stacked on shelves around me. In summer I’d tend a small garden outside, filling the space with herbs, flowers, and simple joys.

Your turn — what would it be like if you lived here?
PS. We collect J.R.R. Tolkien books and recently added a charming illustrated edition by Jemima Catlin. It fits perfectly in the entry and brings a whimsical touch that complements the cottage’s storybook feel.
