Dear blogging friends, many are facing heartbreaking loss following the recent earthquake in Haiti. At the same time, I want to share news about a close blogging friend and longtime sponsor of The Inspired Room, Gina from Feather Your Nest, who recently suffered a personal tragedy. Last week she lost her husband Michael unexpectedly. He was her high school sweetheart, her partner for 16 years, and the father of their children.
My heart breaks for Gina and her family. Some of you may remember her from the recent bunny slipper giveaway on The Inspired Room. Michael worked hard to support the family so Gina could pursue her dream of running a shop. With his sudden passing, Gina is now the sole provider and is seeking full-time work. Her shop is located in a tourist area and it is the off season, so sales are slow right now.
