After searching widely, I found a wingback chair with tasteful nailhead trim from Ballard Designs. The shape is lovely, with graceful curves from every angle, and the option to order it in Sunbrella fabric sealed the deal. After some hesitation, I called Ballard Designs to place the order. They were kind enough to send the chair as a gift in exchange for sharing it here, which I appreciated.
When the chair arrived—sooner than I expected—I was thrilled. It fits the family room perfectly and the fabric feels substantial and attractive. I chose Canvas Gray Sunbrella with Dove Gray legs. Knowing it stands up to kids and pets gives me peace of mind, and it looks beautiful beside the fireplace.
