Simple Fall Decorating Ideas
Welcome — it’s great to have you here! This post is part of a 31-day series about getting inspired for the season and upcoming holidays. I began with easy autumn decorating ideas and will move on to topics like preparing for guests, setting holiday tables, early Christmas planning, and some simple craft and gift ideas along the way.
I keep fall decorating minimal at my house — just a few subtle touches. I already shared my mantel and prefer a simple style year-round. A few seasonal accents are all it takes to shift my mindset into the cozy nesting season and remind me of the things I enjoy about autumn.
Mini apple inside a small frame for a simple seasonal vignette.
Fall hydrangeas gathered from the yard and placed in a tarnished teapot for a rustic touch.
Apothecary jars filled with potpourri, pine cones, nuts, and moss — simple natural elements that evoke the season.
Pretty gourds tucked into small vignettes on the mantel add color and texture.
Green apples displayed under a glass dome create an elegant, seasonal centerpiece.
Our four-month-old white Goldendoodle, Jack, being adorably captivated by a cartoon on TV.
