It had been a while since I refreshed this side of our entry hall, but with fall in full swing I wanted to add something new. I created a cozy, functional update and I’m excited to share my fall entry makeover with you.

Last week I finally tackled a small project I’d been thinking about. A quick browse online led me to affordable fall botanical artwork, a narrow storage bench with a hinged lid and hidden compartment, and reversible plaid pillows that fit the space perfectly.
It was an easy change, but the difference is noticeable and I love it.

It’s come a long way and feels warmer and more inviting.
I don’t always decorate heavily for each season, but I enjoy creating when inspiration strikes. Your home should make you happy—decorate in ways that feel right for you.
There are many ways to update a space for fall: adjust the color palette, layer textures, add organic elements, or swap artwork and accessories that reflect the season. Nature provides endless inspiration—notice what appeals to you and bring those elements into your home.
This update added seasonal style but also increased the entry’s functionality and warmth.
The bench gives me a convenient spot to tuck shopping bags and items we need to grab on the way out the door, keeping the area tidy and practical.
I enjoy evolving my home gradually—each small update adds function and joy and helps me continue to love the home I have.
I’m already looking forward to swapping the artwork for other seasons. Rotating art is an easy way to refresh the space without a major overhaul.
