Charming Homes in Autumn
Which of these fall houses speaks to you most? The first two images are of homes I know well—our former house and my parents’—but I would be happy to live in any of the charming scenes shown here.
We made so many wonderful memories in our cozy English cottage, where we lived happily for years with all three of our children. It was a special time of simple routines—pushing a stroller, riding bikes, and walking through piles of fallen leaves to visit Grandma and Grandpa.
Those days are precious and often missed, but they remain vivid when I look back at photos of that neighborhood and the seasons we enjoyed together.

Today my parents live with us in our Tiny Cottage, and we’re excited to welcome our own little grandson soon. Having family close again brings a new chapter of memories to make together. If you missed my earlier announcement about becoming a grandmother, that post shares the joy and details.
Time can feel like a thief, but when we slow down to enjoy each season—especially autumn with its colors and cozy light—it becomes a gift we can savor.
