Fall brings us indoors and back to the heart of the home: the kitchen. Whether your kitchen is luxurious or comfortably simple, it plays a central role in daily life. This season invites slower mornings, warm light, and more time spent cooking, gathering, and making the space truly livable.
At the moment I’m in an observation phase with my new kitchen—paying close attention to how we use the space and how it supports our routines. Observing how we cook, store items, and move through the room helps identify which changes will truly improve daily life. Once we understand how the kitchen functions for our household, we can make thoughtful, practical design updates rather than reacting to trends.
