Begin the New Year with Purpose and Inspiration

HHello, friends! Lately I’ve been revisiting projects we’ve done over the years in our home. We’ve been gradually updating our 1950s ranch into a brighter, more current cottage-style house. There’s still a long list of ideas I want to tackle, but I like to begin the year by appreciating how far we’ve come. That perspective helps me focus on thoughtful changes rather than rushing into every project.

I’ve been considering a few refreshes for 2021 and one idea keeps coming back: bringing navy walls back into the plan. I miss the deep navy office we had in our old home (Hale Navy by Benjamin Moore) — it felt so cozy and intentional. Small color decisions like that can completely change the mood of a room, and I often find myself thinking about how to recreate that warmth here.

I’ll be sharing progress, before-and-after photos, and makeover ideas soon. If you’d like to follow along, subscribe to the newsletter to get updates and behind-the-scenes notes — I send a short, friendly newsletter to keep readers in the loop about new posts and ideas.
