Fall nesting doesn’t have to be expensive or complicated. Little daily actions can inspire a cozier home.
I enjoy finding simple, everyday ways to make my home feel warmer and more seasonal. Small changes add up and make a big difference in atmosphere.
An easy place to begin is to make your table pretty.
It’s how you look at what you have and what you do with it every single day that changes everything. — Melissa Michaels
I picked up a cheerful floral bouquet at a local farmer’s market. The colors were perfect for transitioning this room from summer to fall.

A nice side effect of bringing flowers into a room is that it often prompts a quick tidy. I cleared clutter and wiped the table before setting the bouquet down.
A bouquet doesn’t sit well on a messy table; it deserves a clean, simple space to shine.
Buying flowers can be the push you need to start a small cleaning and decorating spree. As I wiped the table and placed the bouquet in the center, I felt motivated to continue — tidying and swapping a few accessories in the dining room and living room. I’ll share more of those updates soon.
I definitely felt like I got my money’s worth from that bouquet!
Does a bouquet inspire you to clean and refresh your space, too?
