A Decade of Gratitude: 10 Years of Thankfulness and Growth

Happy Thanksgiving to friends in the U.S. and to everyone around the world. I wish I could invite you to my table this year, but a post will have to do. I want to say how truly grateful I am for your friendship, encouragement, and the joy you’ve brought into my life over the last ten Thanksgivings. It’s hard to believe I’ve been blogging that long, but it’s been an incredible journey.

When I was newly married and settling into our first little condo, I never imagined I’d one day have this space on the internet—a place where kindred spirits and home lovers from everywhere could meet to share seasonal ideas, swap remodeling stories, and find contentment in the homes they’ve made.

From the very beginning this has been a wonderful gift. I love posting here, but even more than that I love hearing from you. It warms my heart to know you’re out there creating your home, and that you take the time to connect and share.

Many of you have followed along through three homes and all the related adventures and projects. Your continued visits mean so much. With so many blogs and social channels available, I don’t take for granted that you choose to spend a bit of your time here. It brings me gratitude and often brings tears to my eyes to know you’ve joined me through seasons when my house felt pulled together, when it was under renovation, or during long quiet stretches in between projects.

Thank you—truly—from the bottom of my heart.

I know this season is difficult for many and deeply meaningful for others. Blessings to each of you. Wherever you sit down to dinner today, I hope you feel loved and remember that you’ve made a difference in my life. I am very grateful for you.

I’ll be back tomorrow!
