Christmas Open House!
I love imagining homes around the world cozy and decorated for the Christmas season. Even though we can’t visit each other in person, we can meet up online through virtual events called “Linky Parties.” These are a fun way to share holiday decor, ideas, and cheer without leaving home.
Jack was banned from helping with the Thanksgiving meal preparations.
You’re invited to my virtual Christmas open house the week of December 12th — cookies, conversation, and a tour of holiday homes! Whether you want to browse other people’s decorations or show your own, this is a low-pressure way to join in. If you don’t have a blog, you can link to a public Facebook album, Flickr, or any other place where your decorated spaces can be viewed.
Once you link up, you can visit everyone else’s entries. It’s a friendly, community event that feels close to a real-life open house. You don’t need to be completely finished decorating — share what you’ve done so far or add your link any time that week. December 12th is a helpful goal since it lands about two weeks before Christmas and gives everyone a little motivation to finish up.

There will likely be two link-ups that day: one for Christmas Home Tours and one for DIY Christmas projects. If you have a festive room or a holiday craft, feel free to add both. The link-up format makes it easy to find and visit other participants and to be discovered for features.
