An indoor potting shelf tucked into a small room is pure joy.

Seeing these photos inspired me to look at the two outdoor tables I have and imagine them filled with plants.

At the moment I don’t have many plants—only an empty pot waiting for something to grow in it. I need to pick up greenery to fill it and bring life to the scene.

A splash of green would complete the vignette and make the space feel lived-in. I plan to get plants on the next sunny day so these tables stop looking so bare.

One of the tables is a cement piece that once sat on my old stone patio. It looked fantastic surrounded by pots and felt perfectly at home in that rustic setting.

Moving it here was a challenge—each section is heavy—but we managed to set it down in its new spot where it has remained. For now it sits empty, eager for pots and plants to make it come alive.

I should have stocked these tables with plants before sharing, but instead I’m leaving you with the image of bare surfaces and an invitation to imagine them filled with greenery. Picture them with cascading vines, clay pots, and fresh herbs—much better!
