Spring Refresh: Creative Spring Fling Ideas for Home & Garden

Spring Refresh

Spring Fling Blog Series with The Inspired Room

I hope you had a wonderful weekend. We were busy helping my daughter move and took Bella, our new puppy, over to start her new life with her. Having a puppy around for the past few weeks was a lot of work, and I confess I was a bit sad to see her go. I already miss her—and I think Lily misses her too. Jack is probably relieved she isn’t nipping at his heels anymore. It’s comforting to send her home to her mama and enjoy being the proud grandma for now.

Because of all the activity, I didn’t get to finish any projects around my own house this weekend. But when the sun came out today I managed to squeeze in a small spring refresh in the kitchen.

It’s been a while since I refreshed my shelves, and I always enjoy rearranging them for the season. It doesn’t take much: a few books, some dishes, and a little time is enough to keep me entertained for hours. I prefer small, simple changes—no shopping trips or major overhauls—just moving a few things or browsing around the house for items that catch my eye. Those little touches are what keep me inspired at home.

What spring refresh have you been working on lately?

I recently moved my air plant to these shelves for fun. Below are a couple of other posts in my Spring Fling series: Spring in the entry and Spring decorating in the bedroom.
