31 Days of Falling for Fall: Your October Cozy Challenge

fall decorating inspiration

Every year nearly since the start of blogging, I publish a Fall series on The Inspired Room. I simply love Fall. The season offers cooler, beautiful days and evenings that invite coziness and calm. Rather than dwelling on the end of summer or worrying about winter, I choose to savor these weeks and embrace the simple pleasures the season brings.

For me, Fall is as much a mindset as it is a change in weather. It’s a time to nurture home and family, to layer texture and warmth into rooms, and to intentionally arrange our lives to suit how we want to live. Fall inspires baking from scratch, lingering over home-cooked meals, and planning small projects that improve everyday life. It’s also the perfect time to get a head start on holiday preparations so the season remains relaxed and memorable.

This year I’m continuing my Fall Nesting theme—being intentional about the season and all the little rituals that make it meaningful. I’ve lined up a full month of ideas, projects, and inspiration for “Falling for Fall,” a series that will run for 31 days beginning September 16th. I’ll likely share a few posts before the official start because I can’t resist getting started!

If you enjoy seasonal projects, you’re welcome to create your own series or join in. I’ll host a link-up party on the first day of the series so readers can share their posts and ideas.

If you’re new to The Inspired Room, this yearly Fall Nesting series delivers fresh content each day for 31 days—practical decorating tips, cozy styling ideas, and simple projects that help you make the most of the season.

Don’t miss it—the Fall Nesting series begins September 16th!
