Spring Easter Eggs
As I walked through the house this week I noticed how many decorative eggs I’ve displayed — a sure sign that spring is here and Easter is approaching. I found a set of golden-yellow speckled eggs at a discount craft shop and couldn’t resist them; the tiny speckles give them a charming, natural look.
Eggs displayed under glass instantly elevate a simple vignette. A cloche or jar creates a delicate, museum-like focus that makes the eggs feel extra special.
Robins’ egg blue is one of my favorite shades for spring—soft, fresh and instantly uplifting.
For a quick and forgiving craft, I tucked a lumpy sheet-music-covered egg into a mason jar. The jar hides imperfections and gives the piece a simple, vintage charm.
Combining eggs with green moss feels so natural and pretty — like a soft nest a mama bird might make. The texture of the moss contrasts with the smooth eggs and brings an organic, earthy note to any display.
An old candle holder makes a charming stand for eggs if you want to repurpose items around the house. It gives height and interest without any extra fuss.
I’m tempted to write names on a few of these eggs—hand-lettered eggs would make adorable place cards for a spring table or a personal little gift for guests.
In other decorating news, I’m sharing thoughts about making your home more than just pretty by choosing decor that reflects what matters most to you. A home filled with meaningful pieces feels welcoming and intentional.
Consider items that tell a story or bring back happy memories when you arrange seasonal vignettes.
Have a great weekend everyone!
